Creepy in Stereo

This one... is a bit hard to explain. I once found a pic on 4chan of Gwen (of Ben 10 cartoon fame) smiling kinda strangely... and oddly enough, it reminded me of Dilandau's (the deranged, narcissistic, pyromaniac pretty boy villain from the anime Escaflowne) deranged/high smile/laugh from that one episode of Escaflowne. For a while I'd either wait for someone to post that Gwen pic JUST so I'd post the Dilandau pic, in tow. After that, I started posting one, THEN the other with it, until a few days ago, I decided to see if putting these two pics together would make it even more creepy. Turns out IT DID!!!! I called it "Creepy in Stereo". Sometimes you have to see the humor in the unsettling. For those of you who can't, all I can say is "Try to fake it". I think I tried too hard with this one.

Toph Awesome Face

My personal rendition of the "oh-so popular" awesome face (that yellow smiley that has that HUGE open-mouthed grin and is look toward the side)... except, I used Toph's sly little grin she ushered when she beat The Boulder. I call it "Toph Awesome Face" The eyes, mouth and bangs were from that scene, but the head, the top of the hair, her hairband, and her "puffs" were made by me.

Megasquid Logo 2008

I felt my logo was long overdue for an update. I honestly think that it's heading, design-wise, in the right direction. Honestly, to me, it kinda resembles Zoidberg. Some I recently met in Orlando told me it looks like Cthulhu, after which we shortly talked H.P. Lovecraft-related nonsense. Overall, it's a step in the right direction. Maybe I should make the black and green shape have a bit of depth, for the next one.

Megasquid Productions Logo

Back when I tried to make it on my own, I had made my own logo. And yes, it's a Megasquid (a creature from "The Future is Wild"). I liked it because it was big and weird, what can I say? But yes, said creature is creative property of Dougal Dixon and the show The Future is Wild, but I didn't intend to sell anything with this logo on it, so please do not think like I was doing something without knowing the consequences.

KleinAero

This logo I created during my College years, as a logo for a made-up aero-space company. I even made up a pamphlet, and everything to go with it. It's good in it's simplicity, but if I had access to a non-corrupted Illustrator Program, I could just make it more sleek.

Cutout of "Metroid" VHS Cover

As another College class project, we were supposed to make a VHS cover for a movie, either one already made, or a new one. I decided to make a new one. And let's face it, some of us would LIKE to have a movie of a good game like Metroid, but I suppose unless you get a respectable director (like say Peter Jackson, for example), such a movie would either end badly (like the Super Mario Bros. movie), or just be a sheer pipe dream (like the Fantastic Four movie prior to 2006). Ridley and Kraid were actually drawn by me, but perhaps I should not as "chosen" Nicolle Kidman as our space bounty-huntress, Samus Aran. One friend said it should be Angelina Jolie, but I felt she didn't fit the bill either. Also, Metroid, Samus, Kraid, Ridley, ALL copyrighted material of Nintendo.

Kraid

Seeing as I could not find good pics of Ridley and Kraid, I had to draw them myself. Well, I drew them, scanned them in, and colored them digitally, which is why they look Kraid looks SOOOO good. All copyright info is in the above description, so no need to repeat myself.

IT'S A WRAP!!!

Ok, for those who aren't into Star Wars, or go onto the Internet, this will need brief explanation.

There is a character in Star Wars named Admiral Ackbar, and one of his key lines is "It's a Trap!" Also, there are people out there who like using that line in funny ways all over the internet. I remember one picture that was "It's a TAPR" (Tapir), with a picture of a Tapir. I simply put Admiral Ackbar's head into a sandwich wrap and changed the word "Trap" with "Wrap". Instant laughs... until it has to be explained, like now (that's why it's better to look at the... sheer goofy obnoxiousness of the internet's picture board. Be aware that the internet isn't a kind thing.

e-Yearbook Logo

This was a logo for a digital yearbook program called e-Yearbook that a Professor of mine had made herself. She asked me to make the logo for her, which I had, as you can see. I wonder what has happened to her?
