For this update we’ve got new issues of Legends of the Rum and Blue Eden for your enjoyment. Supah finally has a picture up in his bio so feel to take a look at it in all it’s pulse pounding, jaw-dropping glory. The Silly Stuff list, in the Writings section, has also been updated with extra content. We’ve also decided to extend the contest entry period until January. Blue Eden's Premier!!!

Seeing as this is done by just me, it takes a bit of time to draw, and color, without compromising my vision or my artistic disciplining; But, as the saying goes, "One mustn't rush perfection!” And as you can see from the end result, I have achieved a lot from these two pages, alone. Though, I couldn't have gotten this far without friends and family to back me up, along the way. So, thanks Ed, Mom, Dad, Brandi, John, and to everyone else who knows of my capabilities.

And as usual, feel free to e-mail us on what you think of the two pages, so far. I will continue to plug away on page production, but it doesn't hurt at all to hear what potential and future fans think, every now and again.

            Alright update time. Let’s see, another issue of Legends of the Rum is up so please feel free to take a look. Supah’s excellent music video “Legend of the Phoenix” is also up for viewing in the Video page. We’ve also mentioned a contest in pervious updates so we’re going to deliver as promised. On the sidebar click on the Contest link to get all the info, first prize is a stuffed Chocobo, you know you want it. Also we want to hear your feedback so please give us an e-mail with any suggestions you have, and please continue to vote and tell your friends about us so we can further share our work.

            Another update, another dollar. If you check out the Fan Art section we’ve uploaded all the Marvel Civil War banners that Supah and myself have created, as well as a blank banner for those wanting to create their own. The next issue of Legends of the Rum is up as well. We’ve also created a section for our various writings, Poems, original stories, fan fiction, haiku, and what not. Right now there is only one item up but that will change in the future.

            If you take a look over to your left you see a Top Web Comics vote button. So please take a moment and give us a vote if you enjoy our work. So me and Nat (QoH) have been working out the details for a Whackpack contest for you all to enter, we have more info at the next update. Also we’d like to get feedback from our fans, if you exist yet. Please let us know what you think about the site and what we could do to make it better.

                        Wow it’s been more then 3 weeks since the last update. It’s been a tough time for the Pack over the last few weeks. Sickness, disease, injury, new jobs, and family problems I could go on but what fun is that. So the next issue of Legends of the Rum is up, 3 new music videos, and Natalie has her picture up in her Bio, so go ahead a take a look at her lovely mug.

           On this Patriots Day please take a moment to think back to all those who lost their lives five shorts years ago, and of the people fighting to prevent it from ever happening again. The Whackpack has just learned that Steve Irwin was killed Monday by a stingray during a diving expedition, while filming an underwater documentary on the Great Barrier Reef. Steve Irwin was an entertaining personality who many in the pack enjoyed watching, and his television antics help me through those rough nights after 911 when I couldn't get to sleep. Our condolences to his Family and Friends. Rest in Peace Mr. Irwin.

Hey everybody we got our first e-mail, and it went a little something like this:

            I see your numbers seem to be down from last I heard of all of you. What's wrong? A few sheep lost from the flock?

            You people need a forums page. or at least a guestbook so you can get direct feedback.

             So that was our first e-mail and now we're also going to answer it here as well. Right now there are four of our members up on the site, in total there's about ten of us. About 4 or 5 years ago we tried the website route before and everyone in the pack had a page. That didn't work out to well and over time a few members have moved on or moved away but their sprit still remains. More members will be getting pages for themselves as they decide to.

              We've been kicking around the idea of forums sometime in the future if we develop a fan base to warrant it. For the mean time please feel free to e-mail us any feedback you have (it makes us feel special).

              Now for the updates; Megasquid Man has 3 new pictures on his gallery, and Supah! and myself both have a new music video each. Me and Jay both have our pictures up on the Bio portions of our galleries, and the next issue of Legends of the Rum is up so take a look.

Greetings, ladies and gentlemen: It is I, your friendly neighborhood… squid… man… Megasquid Man!

Today, we have, for your pleasure, many pleasing updates, and one tiny, yet promising snag. We have a friend of ours, Whackpack Member SslrRanma (who will be getting a page on here soon), do a little bit of cosmetic surgery on our gallery pages by putting thumbnails on all of our gallery pages, lining up and aligning each thumbnail and link nicely, and putting borders around the thumbnails, making them stand out more (giving us that smooth and professional feel).

Second, we now have a Fan Art section for displaying our fans’ artwork.

Third, the gala premiere of one of our two webcomics: Legends of the Rum (for your need of action-figure hijinks).

And finally… our tiny, yet promising snag. Don’t panic! Though I am still in the process of making the second webcomic, Blue Eden, I leave you with two “sneak peak” pages of what is to come. When this first issue is completed, prepare your socks to be blown off!

             Hello ladies and gents. This was another behind the scenes update. We’ve further improved the layout in all pages, so it should look much nicer regardless of viewer window size. I’ve also taken down the Links option until we have actual links.

             The gallery pages have changed the most. All previous artwork has been ordered alphabetically; with the exception of the newest work which appears at the bottom of the list. And the newest work being 5 new pieces by Megasquid and 9 new sketches by Supah!

             We’re still working out the details for our contests, so stay tuned for more news. Megasquid Mans first issue of “Blue Eden” will be up soon, and will weight in at about 12 pages. Also Sup and I will be premiering our comic “Legends of the Rum” soon as well.

Hello folks your Queen of Hate here, to give you the newest of new news. So anyway I guess I’ll start by informing you people that we have three new music videos up and everyone has something new in there bios, pictures and stuff.
             Secondly, I wanted to have some fun and so I suggested to our friendly neighborhood Gimmick that we start doing something more hands on, so that you as the viewer of our webpage can have a chance to join in our fun here, so we’re gonna run a raffle of sorts hopefully we’ll have more on that for our next update, also I want to have contests and competitions, winner gets umm… something, just haven’t decided what exactly, quite possibly there very own chocobo, I like chocobos….
             We also would like some feedback on what we could do to improve the page, or any suggestions for future contests or competitions we can hold that will be entertaining for people to join in, hope you look forward to our next update where we’ll have more sh.. err…. stuff.

Alright fans, if we’ve made any, from the outside this update may not seem like much but from within Whackpack Studios it was a week long pain. We’ve fixed a number of spelling mistakes throughout the website, as well as in some of our videos. We’ve also converted the Video file types to WMV making them smaller and quicker to upload. Some of Sup’s art work has been rescanned and should look nicer and load faster.

              By next week we’ll have a real update for you, with new art from each artist, and some more Music Videos. I’ve been cracking the whip on Megasquid Man so the first issue of Blue Eden should be up by the end of July. More to come and thanks for watching.

Finally after more than 4 years The Whackpack has its website. It's been a long time coming but we're up and running. We're already off to a good start, weighing in at 26 music videos, 40 pieces of Art, 3 Flash Shorts, and soon to come Megasquid Man's web comic Blue Eden. But don't think that's it we've got more stuff coming, so keep your eyes open.
